RS-422

Depending on the communications port you use the connection to the camera may vary. You may be able to use the standard connection method of RX+ to TX+, RX- to TX-, but that may not work.

One altered wiring method seems to work on some installations as follows:

RS-422	Camera
Ground	Ground
RX-	TX+
TX-	RX+
RX+	TX-
TX+	RX-

RS-422 to Cameras Wiring

The following wiring diagram depicts the wiring used to connect the first camera and chain the second camera to the first. Additional cameras should connect the same as between the first and second.
